Mind games

The film’s narrative

17 year old Jack is a popular kid with a troubled passed. From the age of 13 it started to look up for him since he put his troubled passed behind him and joined a new school and found himself to be put with the popular kids. Jack was always the one coming up with mischievous and funny things the boys could get up to. One night Jack has a party, him and his friends proceed to drink and smoke. Jack's foster parents have gone away to Scotland for the  weekend; (they trust Jack because they've really bonded with him and think of him like a son.)… Jack's foster parents left one of the cars. Jack has had a couple driving lessons so now thinks he's confident enough to drive him and his friends to the cliff. (the boys favourite place to go). They get to the cliff and make a fire. Jack and Max go find more fire wood. (Jack is jealous of Max). Jack and Max start arguing. 

TWIST

Jack  killed Max, But the film portrays Max falling off by accident; However blaming himself and going crazy. He thinks his peers blame him for Max's death this is why he goes crazy, and try's to combat the feelings with drugs and alcohol.
